The ProTrainings Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) is designed to equip learners with the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding for effective CPR and safe use of an AED. This qualification enables trained providers to deliver lifesaving first aid care using an AED, following the BLS/AED algorithm and adhering to AED use principles and responsibilities.
The ProTrainings Basic Life Support courses meet all required learning outcomes and align with the Skills for Health UK Core Skills Training Framework (UK-CSTF), covering both adult and peadiatric patient care at Level 2. Endorsed by Skills for Care, the course complies with the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines for adult and peadiatric CPR basic life support (BLS).
