about me
about me
I am a neonatal nurse working for the NHS for the past 12 years and became a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and IBCLC in 2023.
Mum to a 3 year old little boy who was born prematurely at 35 weeks and came to question all my knowledge and skills about breastfeeding.
We breastfeed for 30 months but the lack of support caught me completely off guard, and after, unofficially, helping friends with their breastfeeding journeys, I embraced the path to become na IBCLC and now make my mission to help as many families as I can with their own journeys.
So if you need help, want to know more and prepare yourself or just want someone
to hear you get in touch!

What our Clients say about us
Katie Smith
“I don’t think I could have ever done it without her she was amazing and hope that I can have her support again in the future.”
Filipa
“Flavia was the person that kept me going through my breastfeeding journey with my baby at the time when she was born, she is now 13 months and I’m still breastfeeding her.”
Charlotte Louise T
“You made me feel so comfortable to give it all a go and allowed me to ask any question I had and went over things multiple times to make sure I understood.”
Katie Smith
“I met flavia as a nurse on nicu at James paget when my son was born at 29 weeks I told her all about my dream to breastfeed and she showed me at first how to up my supply by pumping as little man was too little to breastfeed just yet so that I could be prepared when he was and honestly than when he was ready to start she was with me whenever I need support or encouragement I don’t think I could have ever done it without her she was amazing and hope that I can have her support again in the future.”
Filipa
“Flavia was the person that kept me going through my breastfeeding journey with my baby at the time when she was born, she is now 13 months and I’m still breastfeeding her.
Flavia has not only encouraged me to keep going but also taken her own time to come and see us at home, She has helped my baby to do a proper and correct latch, has shown me different breastfeeding positions and helped us find out which one would be better for us.”
Charlotte Louise T
“Having my first baby come earlier than planned out of nowhere with no understanding or knowledge around breastfeeding was a shock. I had not even harvested a single drop of colostrum prior to going into labour.
Whilst I would never have wanted Albie to be poorly and in NICU, I feel like it was fate as I then crossed your path.”
